Marek has been working since 1990 for Retail/Wholesale organizations in Holland, Belgium, Poland, Morocco, South Korea, Japan, Thailand and now in Pakistan where since 2005, he is heading Makro-Habib Pakistan Limited, a joint business venture of the House of Habib (Pakistan) and Makro, a business unit of SHV conglomerate of Netherlands.

He has a Masters in Business Administration from University of Amsterdam 1990. He is married with two sons.
