| MAP to host mega
conference in March 2006 |

Karachi,
September 30: The Management Association
of Pakistan announced here on Friday that the body
would be hosting its 10th Management Convention
with the theme of “Leadership, Innovation
and Entrepreneurship” in March 2006 in Karachi.
President of Pakistan General Pervez Musharraf is
being extended an invitation to inaugurate this
mega event. |

| The Convention
is poised to be a landmark event for Pakistan with
a number of international statesmen, business thinkers,
consultants and speakers from many countries of
the world would be speaking on a number of topics
along with the leading names from Pakistan. The
event would attract a large number of corporate
delegates from Pakistan and abroad. |

| Octara, a prominent
event management and training consultancy has been
appointed the Event Managers for this event. An
MoU to this effect was signed recently between MAP
and Octara in Karachi. |

| Shafiq Ahmed Siddiqui,
Chairman of the 10th Management Convention Organizing
Committee, said that this is for the first time
that the most prominent names in leadership and
business thinking would be in Pakistan. The objective
of this event is to promote and enhance personal
and professional excellence in all spheres of business.
The event would further the agenda of projecting
a soft image of Pakistan and promoting close interaction
between the business leaders from Pakistan and abroad,
he said during the MoU signing ceremony. |
