Well Organized. Wonderful list of Speakers.
Friendly participants. To Improve
on:
1. Time Management
2. Control of stage/program by organizer. Sometimes participants
were confused who is in charge, MC other people.

I have been to 40 Countries allover the
world, it was for the first time I have received such an excellent
hospitality in Pakistan. It was heart-wining welcome.
My memorable visit to Pakistan:
I and my wife Madhuri would like to express my gratitude for
a memorable visit to Karachi and Lahore between 4th and 9th
of March 06. It was our dream to visit Pakistan and spread the
laughter movement but due to political situation between the
two countries it was not easy to get visa to Pakistan. Thanks
to MAP Convention 2006, we got the opportunity and I would like
to say the following from the bottom of my heart- Our visa was
a complete walk over and it just took 2 minutes in Pakistani
High Commission to get the visa. Later I came to know how much
work was involved by Hamza Hashmi and Arif Ansari to get the
clearance from interior ministry. The moment we arrived on Karachi
airport we were well received and it was a red carpet parchment.
Our stay at Sheraton was Luxurious and very comfortable.
Visit to Lahore was memorable as it was like a dream and we
felt that we were trotted like king and queen in PC hotel
fountain suite. Extraordinary reception (all organized by
our friend Arif), sight seeing was exclusive and dinner of
“Cocoos” was very special.
The remarkable thing about our visit was that we didn’t
have to spend a penny and people were not accepting money
we offered. The MAP Convention went very well, all the distinguished
speakers were at their best, the laughter yoga seminar was
a blockbuster and reasonably successful. The outstanding feature
of our visit was the love and affection by Pakistani people’s
purity on our visit and we were also in tears by there heart
warming welcome. I visited many countries and used to tell
the whole world that there is no match for Indian hospitality.
But after coming to Pakistan I have changed my mind and will
tell people that if you want to know what hospitality means
please come to Pakistan. We have overwhelming response to
laughter club idea and Insha Allah we will be back again in
July and August to set up laughter clubs. Our Special thanks
to our special friends Hamza and Arif for their love, affection
and hard work. God bless you.

Pakistan…
A surprise packet!
Starting with Octara management for someone who does a lot of
“speaking” I usually approach events with trepidation.
MAP organizers were always one Step ahead of my queries. Karachi
was the second surprise graciousness from all whom I met third
was the healthy debate, lets hope that we can realize the hopes
expressed. Of course this event could have been marred by recent
events but from my arrival at the airport I was made to feel
both safe and comfortable. |

This is a debate that is very much needed
it saves a two-fold purpose first by opening up debate and dialogue.
Secondly it is profiling Pakistan and its success stories in
both the public and private sectors. Pakistan is a hidden asset
that now needs to be dusted down and put on the world map -
quite apt as we have disused globalization in great detail. |

My Congratulations to Octara and Tranzum
Group on a great conference. Participants in the conference
were lively and it was organized at a very professional level.
I must say that the MAP conference compasses very frontally
to many of those other conferences. The team from Octara managed
the right level of autonomous decision-making combined with
detailed attention to attendees and speakers.
Since I have known Tranzum and its founders Mr. Khalid Awan,
my expectations when coming to Pakistan were high. The Octara
team exceeds them. Thank you to Arif Ansari and Hamza Hashmi
for doing a good job. Thanks to Ali Leghari for being a patient
and engaging heart. Thanks to Jamil Janjua for his involvement
and to Khalid Awan for his friendship. |
